Recently refurbished with a contemporary theme, Emmeline House provides a home that provides safety and stability for up to six children aged 7 to 17 who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Emmeline House, named after the influential and brave Emmeline Pankhurst, provides ongoing intensive individual attention, stability and support to children who have experienced disrupted development and multiple placement moves.

About the Manager

Teyte has 8 years’ experience in various roles within the residential care setting. Her experience and background have been working with children and young people who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences working with children aged between 6-17 who display a variety of vulnerabilities and challenging behaviours. For 4 of those years Teyte focused on working specifically with sexually traumatised children but have also worked with learning difficulties such as Asperger’s, medical conditions such as Epilepsy and high risk such as drugs, alcohol and CSE. In the past 18 months she has worked as a Registered Manager during this time achieving Good with Ofsted.
