Summary

Named after the inspiring female mathematician and writer, Ada Lovelace – Ada House is a calming and welcoming single storey home located in a residential area. Working as a residential therapeutic community, Ada House offers high quality care and substitute parenting for up to six girls aged between 10 and 17, who have experienced child sexual exploitation.

Whilst ensuring that children are afforded experiences and opportunities we provide on-going intensive therapeutic, personalised care and access to educational structure and attainment.

About the Manager

Ellese studied Early Years Studies at University and graduated with a first class degree. Ellese went on to volunteer in Uganda working in a primary school and also worked with the homeless and vulnerable children in a drop in centre. Ellese returned to the UK where she continued to work with vulnerable children which started at Ferndearle Children’s Homes as an RSW before working her way up to Service Manager of Ada House. Ellese holds NVQ level 3 in leadership and management, NVQ level 3 in children’s work force and is currently enrolled onto level 5.
